In this structure, there are three long chains which is confusing. The 2-methyl butane is meant to have 4 long chains

The answer is correct as 2-methylpropane.
Yes it correct because the 2 methyl group that seems to be confusing, one must be counted to make the longest carbon chain 4 (but) and since it's a single bond (-ane), the name becomes 2-methylbutane.

I think this is wrong
since there are 3 carbon compound
which is propane
and 2 methane which is dimethyle so the ansa is 1 dimethyle propane
