The correct answer is: i, ii, iii, and iv.

The solubility of a gaseous substance is dependent on:

1. *Nature of solvents*: The polarity and intermolecular forces of the solvent affect the solubility of the gas.
2. *Nature of solute (gas)*: The properties of the gas, such as its molecular weight, polarity, and intermolecular forces, impact its solubility.
3. *Temperature*: Generally, the solubility of gases decreases with increasing temperature.
4. *Pressure*: The solubility of gases increases with increasing pressure, as described by Henry's Law.

All four factors influence the solubility of a gaseous substance.

IF YOU THINK SOLUTES ARE ONLY FOR SOLIDS WELL IT MEANS WHAT IS BEING DISSOLVED IN THE SOLVENT .

Three factors determine the solubility of gases in water. The temperature, pressure of the gaseous solute, and nature of the solvent and solute particles. Answer is A

my school youre wrong, solubility of gases depends on solvent, because you cant compare the solubility of hydrogen chloride to nitrogen gas in water even if you increase the pressure of nitrogen it can never dissolve in water

This is nonsense my school you should be making this blunder the answer is A
