Barium is correct.
it is that:
Metallic property decrease across the period and increase than the group.
And in group, in which barium and calcium can be found, barium is lower in the group, hence it has higher metallic property than calcium

Neglecting d electrochemical series nd considering d peridic table.D metallic property decreases down d period. Therefore Calcium has more metallic characters
in electrochemical series calcium comes immediately after potassium and sodium making it highly electroposive element

please it can't be calcium, the correct answer is Barium because metallic property increases down the group. To make it more easy calcium and Barium are in the group 2 alkali earth metal which Barium is the most metallic in the group.

C is correct please
Do review
Barium and Calcium are in the same group but Barium is lower down than Calcium. So it's more metallic than Calcium.
Reason
Note that in the Metallic property trend down and across the periodic table, The Metallic property decrease across the period and *increases* down the group.

No the correct answer is Barium....... It is in this way - - - Pottasium, Sodium Barium, Calcium Magnesium etc.
But In the option we have no Sodium nor Pottasium, therefore Barium which is more electro positive than Calcium will be the answer. Check.... Barium has metallic property than Calcium..... Myschool.com.ng please take note.
