U are wrong sir. There would be exchange of radicals. X=Aluminium with a charge of 3. And Y Is Oxygen with a change of -2. Neglecting d sign on d charges. D elements would exchange radicals on combining nd it would give Al2O3. datz y u see X2Y3. So, d answer is correct,

The answer is XY3

The answer is wrong it is x:2,8,3 Y:2,6 therefore x3 Y6 ans you will cross multiply that is X6Y3 or X2y. Am I correct
