guys, entropy is the degree of disorderliness. like smoke for example . from the equation above,you can see that gas is mixing with solid to form solid. therefore since solid doesnt go in random movement like the gas(entropy) that is why its negative which means impossoble. the reaction itself is endothermic . entropy is different from endo or exothermic reaction...hope that helps
