iron can have a valency of 2 or 3.
looking at the question, the formula is Fe2(SO4)3
And according to new school chemistry, when writing chemical equations, the elements or radicals involved exchange valency i.e.
Fe³+ (SO4)²+
so on exchanging u get the compound above
So from there we know the Fe carries the +3 charge and not the +2
