Hydrogen (H₂): Molar mass of H₂ = 2 × 1.00 = 2.00 g/mol
Moles of H₂ = {0.256}/{2.00} = 0.128 mol Oxygen (O₂): Molar mass of O₂ = 2 × 16.0 = 32.0 g/mol
Moles of O₂ = {2.00}/{32.0} = 0.0625 mol
divide by the lowest number
mole ratio of H2 0.128/ 0.0625= 2.048
mole ratio of O2 0.0625/0.0625= 1
mole ratio 2:1
