In a titration of CH3COOH (acetic acid) and NaOH (sodium hydroxide), an indicator such as phenolphthalein can be used to signal when the equivalence point has been reached ¹. Phenolphthalein changes color from colorless to pink at a pH range of about 8.2-10 ¹. So, in this case, the pH range of the indicator used would be **C. 8-10**.

tbh i'm not completely sure why C is the answer i blv you're meant to perform calculated guessing so CH3COOH or acetic acid is a weak acid and NaOH or sodium hydroxide is a strong base so you need a strong acid to assist the acetic acid in balancing out the solution and a pH range of 3-5 is the closest range to a strong acid among the options so you're answer shld be A.
