The ans is C

From the reaction,

2moles of NaHCO3--1mole of CO2

But 1mole of any gas occupies 22.4dm3 at STP,let x be the volume when its 0.5mol therefore

2mol ---22.4dm3

0.5mol--x

Cross multiply

2x=0.5*22.4

2x=11.2

X=11.2/2

X=5.6 dm3
