yes option C is accurate

All members of a homologous series share a general molecular formula, that is, CnH2n+2 for alkanes, CnH2n for alkenes, CnH2n+1OH for alkanols and so on...

the two compounds from the question are; Propanol and Butan2ol (both of them are alkanols) respectively... and so possess the general molecular formula CnH2n+1OH
