they are actually correct. try to understand this
both elevtrodes are coppee. this means that as cu ion is beimg reduced in the solution and deposited as cu metal on the xathode (negative electode), more ions of cu are also being added to the solution from the anode (positive electrode) thereby maintaining constant cu ion concentration and COLOUR while the ANODE REDUCES. hope we all get now!
