no comment?...so its correct?.. m sure d ansa is C caux caustic potash will absorb CO2...since d mixture has no C02,it won't have effect on lime water

The answer should be C.
Caustic potash absorb the Carbon (iv) Oxide in the air which is responsible for the milkiness of lime water. Hence air passed through caustic potash will have no effect on lime water

it doesn't need explanation again self, it is CO2 that turns lime water milky, but since KOH has been exposed to air to removed all the CO2, so it shows that it will not have any effect on line water
