The correct answer is A ... mole of Mg = 12/24 = 0.5 mol ,,

Mass of hydrogen = 0.5 × 2 = 1g

If 24grammes of magnesium produces 2g of hydrogen gas then 12g of Mg will produce 1g of hydrogen.
