When a plumber is joining two metal pipes together, or an electrician is joining two wires, they can't use regular glue because it will melt or wash away. They need "metal glue."

They use an alloy called Solder, which is a mixture of Lead (Pb) and Tin (Sn).
Why these two? Because when you mix them, the resulting alloy has a remarkably low melting point.

The plumber can easily melt it with a small blowtorch to seal the joint, and it solidifies almost instantly to create a waterproof, unbreakable bond.
