The correct answer is:

B. Ethanol

Explanation:

Methane – A natural gas that can be obtained during the refining of petroleum.

Petrol – A direct product of petroleum refining.

Vaseline – A semi-solid mixture derived from petroleum (also known as petroleum jelly).

Kerosene – A direct fraction from the distillation of crude oil.

Ethanol, however, is not derived directly from petroleum. It is commonly produced by the fermentation of sugars from biomass (like corn or sugarcane), or synthetically from ethylene, but it is not a direct product of crude oil refining.

So, Ethanol is not a direct petroleum product.

The correct answer is:

B. Ethanol

Explanation: Ethanol is not a direct petroleum product; it is usually produced through the fermentation of sugars from plants like corn or sugarcane. On the other hand, methane, petrol, Vaseline (petroleum jelly), and kerosene are all derived from crude oil during the refining process.

the answer is methane. methane(85-95%), propane(2%) and ethane(3-8%)are NATURAL gas. natural gas and crude oil are in closely related region. when the oil region is struck oil rushes out through the holes OWING to the pressure of the natural gas, until the pressure of the gas subsides and air pressure is then applied to the pump to force out oil out of the well.
