The answer is A: ethylethanoate. Smaller alkanols and alkanoic acids are partially soluble in water (and solubility decreases with increasing number of carbons) but esters tend to be insoluble.

Methanoic äcid and alkanoic äcid generally are soluble in water bcos of the hydroxyl group - OOH WHIle the ethyl ethanoate do not contain this hence A is the answer
