Rusting is an example of a REDOX reaction, so definitely, it is a reduction process so we are left with the rest three answers
we all know that the formular of rust is Fe2O3.xH2O
so option D also is correct
Now rusting is known to take place in the presence of air and moisture so option B is correct
And from the our environment we all know that when iron rusts, the colour turns into reddish brown so option C is correct
The correct option is D

Rusting is a an oxidation and not a reduction process because, rusting involves oxygen and oxidation is the addition of oxygen
