Alkanes like CH4(methane) has a shape that's tetrahedral.. and alkanes are sp3 hybridized..so therefore it gives rise to sp3 hybridization

Alkanes like CH4(methane) has a shape that's tetrahedral.. and alkanes are sp3 hybridized..so therefore it gives rise to SP3 hybridization
On the other hand, Alkenes and alkynes are Sp2 and SP hybridized respectively
