From the diagram above the mass of crystals deposited when 1 dm 3 of a saturated solution of NaCl is cooled from 80 oC to 60oC is
[Na = 23, Cl = 35.5]

A is coreecr because
the formula for Solubility is solute / solvent * 1000/molar mass
where the solute is unknown
the solvent is 1dm3= 1000cm3
molar mass =58.5g/mol
solubility for cooling from 80 to 60degrees celsius is 10-8=2.0mol/dm3
by substitution method
2=solute/1000 *1000/58.5
2=solute/58.5
solute=58.5*2
=117.0g

solubility=m×1000/M×V
solubility=10-8=2mol/dm³
M=23+35.5=58.5g
1 dm³=1×1000cm³
m=2×58.5×1000/1000
m=117g

I don't think so the answer shoud be C not A because clearly in the graph, the solution in the graph was 10 mol per dm³, but we're asked to calculate in 1 mol per dm³ of the solution not in 10 mol per dm³ of the solution so the answer should be C not A
