Their answer is right. Kindly check your lamlad chemistry textbook, page 280 under the section of additional polymerization of alkene , hydrocarbons.

Natural rubber is the addition polymerization of isoprene(2-methylbuta-1,3-diene)
'ene' means double bond.
In vulcanization, sulphur creates cross-links between the polymers of isoprene which there makes double bond to become removal (HENCE, THE REMOVAL OF DOUBLE BOND)
Ans:
OPTION C
OPTION C

During vulcanization, what the sulphur dies it that it breaks up the double bonds and bridges of sulphur are formed between adjacent positions in a polymeric chain position. And this is what gives the synthetic rubber its elasticity and hardness so option C is correct I involves the removal of the double bond.

Where does the answers to the questions come from??because after ticking the answer they tell us no explanation yet why?i just want to be sure of these answers please

In My Own View, I Think rubber Should Be In The Alkene Family So Its Double Bonding Aroused The Effect Of sulphur Removing Those Bonds And Linking The Carbom Atoms.
