solubility = solute/solvent x 100g

How possible is this ? Solubility=(mass/mm)x(1000/volume). I see no correlation

mass of solute = 12g
mass of solvent = 40g(40cm3) since water has a density of 1g/cm3
in dm3 = 40/1000 = 0.04dm3
Solubility = 12g/0.04dm3 = 300g/dm3
NO OPTION IS CORRECT
NO OPTION IS CORRECT
Answer couldn't have been in mol/dm3 since the atomic masses of K, Cl and O weren't given

Solubility is M/MM x 1000/V.
Mm of KClO = 39+ 35.5 + 16 =90.5
Volume= 40cm^3
So, Solubility=(12/90.5)x(1000/40)= 3.315g/dm^3
The answer isn't there

Absolutely correct "E"
this is calculation on solubility in grams of solvent per 100g.
Molarity is calculated in volume per 1000. CHECK THE TWO FORMULA

it's 1000 not 100. myschool pls review
