Alright, let me explain it simply.

Charles' Law states that when you heat a gas, it expands (its volume increases). When you cool it, it shrinks (its volume decreases), as long as the pressure stays the same.

Mathematically, it says:

is the temperature in Kelvin (not Celsius).


Now, if we keep cooling the gas, its volume keeps decreasing. If we keep following this pattern, the volume seems like it will reach zero at -273.15°C (which is 0 Kelvin). This is called absolute zero, the coldest possible temperature.

But in real life, gases turn into liquids or solids before reaching this temperature, so we never actually see a gas shrink to zero volume.

Answer should be A. Because for charlse law, volume is directly proportional to temperature. So at 0cm3 temperature is 0°c or 273k.
