Kudos to those who got it right, here is a sure more word of prophecy...for alkanes and alkynes, you can geet their possible no. of isomers by applying this formular though i believe it is already known by some brainees i.e 2n- 4 + 1 and 2n- 4 + 2 for alkenes.
Where n- 4 is raised to a power, i mean it is written on top of 2 as a superscript
