co2 has a linear shape,h2o has bent nd ch4 has tetrahydral shape

this s very simple and obvious from dea formula, the shape for co2 is 0--C--0 (double bond ) and for h20 we have two bond pairs and two lone pairs making it the bent shape as h /O/h. and for ch4 ,carbon is tetravalent so will form tetrahedral!

it's A. CO2 is bent, H2O is linear, and CH4 is tetrahedral.

-CO2 (Carbon Dioxide): It has a linear shape because there are two oxygen atoms on either side of the carbon atom, forming a straight line.

-H2O (Water) It has a bent or V-shaped molecular geometry. The two hydrogen atoms and two lone pairs of electrons on the oxygen create this shape.

- CH4 (Methane) It has a tetrahedral shape. Methane has four hydrogen atoms surrounding a central carbon atom, and the bond angles are approximately 109.5 degrees, creating a tetrahedral arrangement.

So, the sequence is bent (CO2), linear (H2O), and tetrahedral (CH4).
