IT is very simple, sieving is a technique use to separate solid of different sizes. e.g in the process of garri making, after grinding the raw cassava for you to separate the main garri from the chaffs you have to sieve it fist, and after the sieving you find out that the solid particles have different sizes before you can now fry the garri for consumption.
