it really is B

this cos all other options are all having their formula correspond to CH4 which is methane's formula and as tradition of methane (all alkynes) to undergo substitution reaction

as such chlorine substitutes hydrogen atom

LOOK closely option B is ethane and not methane

d answer should be "C" not "B" bcos all are group of alkane except C wic is alkene group.
