mole = conc * vol
= 1*250cm3( convert to dm3)
= 1*0.25dm3 = 0.25
mass = mole * molar mass
= 0.25 * 56
= 14g
OR
2KOH - H2O + K2O
2 : 1 : 1
MOLE = 0.25
From the ratio
2 = 1
0.25 = x
Cross multiply
x = 0.125
mass = mole * molar mass
= 0.125 * 112 (molar mass of 2KOH) = 14g
