please know this
atomic number has three names at neutral stage
1) atomic number
2) proton and
3) electron.

The correct question should be "an element x has 127 neutrons and 82 PROTONS" and not 82 ELECTRONS as contend in the questions. Becuase atomic number is the number of protons in the neucleus of an atom, and not the number of electrons.
