stop saying wat u dont noooo....nd dont mislead d public.....myschool God bless u....it is absoletely correct.....bcuz it is not compulsory dat every tin must be i gaseous state....once at least one of d reactant and one of d product is in gaseous state pressure can affect d reaction.....but wen d total number of mole in d reactant nd in product are dsame pressure cannot affect d equation.. .so B is correct....God bless u myschool

which of the following equilibra is unaffected by a pressure change?
B.H2(g) + I2(g)_ 2HI(g)

this people are marking rubbish the real answer is A cause pressure only affect gas boyle lawn

The site has offered a wrong answer to this question. By the principle pressure affects only gaseous products AND reactants , all otipns B-D all have both gaseous produts and reactants. Thus, A would only suffice for NOT being affected as NaCl is not a gas so is Na, added to this, NaCl cannot decompose to give Na(l). it only gives NaCl -> Na+ (aq) + Cl-(aq). This is due to its electrolytic dissociation. otherwise, NaCl is thermally stable and would not release Cl2

Please correct this pressure is the collision of gas molecules with the container there for pressure change is observed only in gaseous chemical reaction

The answer is B even though the question is not straight forword
NB:there is no change in the mole of the reactant and product of option B

This answer is wrong..The correct answer is "A" because pressure can ONLY have an effect on equilibrum when the products and reactants are all in gaseous(g) phase..If u look @the options B-D,they are all in gaeous phase except that of "A".
