NH4CL(aq), (i.e in aqueous form or ammonium chloride + water 💧) is different from NH4CL(s), (i.e in dry crystal form). So since NH4CL(aq) contains water 💧, you have to carefully ''EVAPORATE'' the water 💧 content first to get the solid crystal of NH4CL(s). Then, on further heating, the NH4CL(s) ''SUBLIMES'' to the cooler part of the container. So Yea, the correct option is D.

Here's what I missed,NH4Cl is what is needed out of the mixture, not the sand, so the answer is D. So as to loose the gas but retain and not decompose the sugar.

For the ammonium chloride to be mistaken for water, they must have been in similar states. So the answer must be D

If u filter first, will d sugar molecules nt go out with d amonium chloride??

There is no liquid in the mixture that needs evaporation.SO it has to be filtration by dissolution in water followed by sublimation of the ammonium chloride.

The answer is C. becos the ammonium chloride is in solution, hence sublimation does not arise here, hence ammonium chloride is removed by filtration followed by evaporation to expell element of water from the mixture of sand and sugar.
