(iii) It provides an under-flat when silver serving vegetables and potatoes. (iv)Service salver is used to carry clean glasses to the table. (v) A service salver is used to carry dirty glasses, cutlery, cups and saucers from the customer's table while clearing away. (vi) It is used to carry cutlery to and from a Customer's table (vii) it is used to serve plated food (viii) for serving drinks and cocktails (ix) for serving tea and coffee.
