This question is rather ambiguous
because the liver makes bile which it is stored in the gall bladder...to send this bile to the gall bladder it needs a duct which is the bile duct connected to the LIVER
during the digestion of food bile is needed for the emulsification of fat which the gall bladder sends to the DUODENUM through the duct
if you also look at the pictures above you would also notice that the bile duct runs through the pancreas

These are the kinds of questions you pray against when prepping for exams

Since gam is permeable to water the water will move into the yam thereby leasing to the decrease in the volume of water inthe solution D is correct

Let's consider osmosis here. Yam is a semipermeable membrane
The salt solution will move into the yam

C is crt yam is the weak solution and salt the stronger one water moves from dilute or weaker to stronger solution

D answer is absolutely correct, since d solution inside d hollow yam tuber is hypertonic to dat of d surrounding, there is water loss via osmosis thereby causing a decrease in d quantity of water inside d HYT without altering d size of d yam.

Since the yam is in a hypertonic solution i.e the salt solution, the amount of water will surely decrease thereby, making the yam to also reduce in terms of it's volume.so, option A is my pick.
