Some species of Euglena have chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is found in the chloroplasts of Euglena, which are organelles that perform photosynthesis. Euglena are unicellular organisms that can be photosynthetic or heterotrophic. When there is enough sunlight, Euglena use chlorophyll a and b to produce sugars through photosynthesis.
