the best description i can think of for the part labelled II is sublittoral. but since that's not in the question i would have gone with littoral. although, that's if this is an image of a shoreline. if it represents the entire ocean then i would choose pelagic. supra-tidal, as the explanation says, is the part that is underwater at high tides. that doesn't seem to me like it fits the part labelled II. what am i missing🤔.

Check Modern biology page 349, the answer is clearly benthic zone. Even the diagram is exactly the same.

they clearly stated in their explanation that lithoral zone is where the land and the water meet , and the land and water meet on I which is the lithoral zone

There's no plant growing there, it can never be littoral zone. Littoral zone are areas near the shore, where sunlight reaches the bottom, allowing plants to grow.
