The correct answer to that question is space in the sense that for plants which are the producers of the food in the ecological chain, the compete among themselves for light and nutrients. While animals(heterotrophes) compete for space basically and other subsequent thing like mate,food,etc that is lacking in their environment. Thanks

I don't think light is correct since heterotrophs don't require light soooo I think the answer is nutrients because they will have to compete for food which has nutrients in them soooo D is the the correct answer
