excuse me please you guys should try and understand the question very well and study your text books very well don't come here and be guessing answers...The correct answer there is D. Habitat
Reasons: The key words there are physical space and functional role i.e jamb is asking you whats the physical space occupied by an organism..... which is Habitat
Secondly remember niche refers to the SUM TOTAL OF ALL ROLES FOR ANY ORGANISM which are interactions, styles and how it lives with other members of it's particular habitat.
while Habitat is that physical space occupied by species is as simple as that.....
