Short-sightedness is a very common problem that can be corrected by glasses or contact lenses, or cured with laser eye surgery.

the ans is actually A! look at this way: myopia is due to person not being able to focus distant objects becasue the image is formed b4 the retina. now recall, concave lenses are converging lenses i.e, they shorten the distance travelled by light rays by bringing them to one focus(used in the correction of longsightedness) while comvex aee diverging lenses that bends light rays therefore increasing tge distance travelled. so for a short sighted person (image formed b4 the retina) a convex lens is used so as to increase the focus point from b4 the retina to exactly on the retina, then the person is able to focus properly
