d answer is wrong

in athropoda the chitin is strengthen by

protein....but athropods that stays in seas are

strengthen by calcium salts due to the high

content of calcium salt in water...

So the question says MANY athropods..and most

abondant of all athropods is insecta which lives on

land and there is no way there chitin is enhanced

by calcium....so d amswer is protein
