Mr Victor.. If u check well, u'll notice dat d nutrients are nt limited to oxygen alone. What abt d vitamins, d minerals, even d hormones nd d likes. Ar they also exchanged at d lungs???. Nah nah nah. They are exchanged really in d blood through d help of d lymph nd lymph nodes. Thank U!!
guys i dont think lungs is the ansa remember the question asked nutrient and not oxygen so the lymph does the work of the plasma

2. Absorption of fatty acids and glycerol

@badformular,is oxygen not a nutient ?.The last time I checked,nutrient is any substance that provide the needed catabolic and anabolic mechanism for metabolic activities in plants,animals,body cells,tissues,organs and other vital body stucture.The correct ans is lung bcos it performs the above function[s].
