Option "B" and "D" are Pollination and Copulation/intercourse/mating/coitus respectively. These processes lead to fertilization in higher plants and animals respectively, but not fertilization itself.

But what describe fertilization in higher animal is fusion of male man-fluid with female egg, that is option "A" correct answer.
