Yea A is correct. Understanding the grammar is another thing. D said transferring oxygen to lungs . rather it ought to have been transferring oxygen from lungs to other parts of the body๐. But A is accurately stated. But note the main function of blood is to transfer oxygen from lungs to other parts of the body. Its just the grammar.

The main functions of blood are:
1. *Oxygen Transport*: Blood carries oxygen from the lungs to the body's tissues.
2. *Carbon Dioxide Removal*: Blood carries carbon dioxide from the tissues back to the lungs.
3. *Nutrient Transport*: Blood transports nutrients, such as glucose, amino acids, and fatty acids, from the digestive system to the body's tissues.
4. *Waste Removal*: Blood carries waste products, such as urea, from the tissues to the kidneys for excretion.
However, if I had to choose one main function, it would be:
*Oxygen Transport*
This is because oxygen is essential for the survival of cells, and blood plays a critical role in delivering oxygen to the body's tissues.
But the Grammer was twisted,so the most correct answer is A

I hope this helps if it doesn't take this in jamb u don't just rush into conclusion read the question and answer is important reading in between lines may help to boost Ur score in jamb cuz jamb don't set simple question but to you it may look simple

The main function of blood is to transport oxygen from the lungs to other parts of the body through pulmonary and systemic circulation. Therefore the answer should be D.

A is correct.. D is opposite of the main function...
Blood transport oxygen from the lungs to the body (tissues as well) but look carefully its not corresponding

excretory material includes oxygen, digested food, enzymes,co2 hormones etc all options are correct but only Option A is accurate

The blood does not carry excretory materials from tissues. Thatโs not its main function. Itโs main function is to carry oxygen to the lungs and tissues of the body
