According to modern biology, it was stated that all organisms of the same kind living in the same habitat form a population.

Both are correct.....population is the collection of similar organism in the same habitat and that interbreed freely

C is more suitable because that is a minute difference between Population an Species
B4 they can be termed a population they must be living in close association unlike species which are unrestricted to Location

The answer is C (b and c are both correct actually but it's more advisable to choose c)

b specifically to members of the same species that from a reproductive unit .

B. interbreed freely.
A population is a group of individuals of the same species that live in the same habitat and can interbreed and produce viable offspring
While it's true that populations of organisms may behave similarly, eat similar food, and occupy similar habitats, but, it is the ability to interbreed and produce offspring that defines a population.
