the correct answer is not d, the correct answer is the mantle as the mantle contains lungs that helps it to breathe

D is not the answer because that only shows where the pneumostome is located, but you forgot to mention that the pneumostome or respiratory pore is an opening of the mantle, while that opening is located at the foot, the respiratory pore is directly from the mantle making it the respiratory organ. So pls the answer is B

Exacty my thoughts. The answer should be the mantle..that's where most of the organs are. And the "foot" is for locomotion...not respiration.
