If solution y is highly-concentrated than solution x, then solution y would rise and x will fall. I'm I right? Please.

In a semi-permeable membrane, osmosis occurs, meaning water moves from a region of lower solute concentration (solution X) to a region of higher solute concentration (solution Y).

Since solution Y is more concentrated than solution X, water will move from X to Y through the membrane. This will cause:

Solution X to decrease in level (as water leaves it).
Solution Y to increase in level (as water enters it).
Thus, the correct answer is:

D. The level of Y would rise, X would fall.
