option A is correct...the first step in ghe process of photosynthesis is energizing chrolophyl, second step is photolysis of water, third step is transfer of hydrogen by NADP then ghe finally step is formation of ATP...thanks

The first step in the process of photosynthesis is the **activation of the chlorophyll**. This occurs when light energy is absorbed by chlorophyll molecules, causing electrons to get excited. These excited electrons are then picked up by an electron acceptor which passes them to an electron transport system. So, the correct answer is **Option A**..

You guys are getting it wrong
Eventhough chlorophyll is needed for plants to photosynthesis it is not part of the process of photosynthesis
According to idodo umeh the first step of photosynthesis is photolysis of water
So the correct option is B

U guys are getting it wrong
Eventhough chlorophyll is needed by plants for photosynthesis it is not part of the process of photosynthesis
According to idodo umeh Biology the first step of photosynthesis is photolysis of water
So the correct option is C

The ans is C, it's the energy from the photolysis of water that is used to activate chlorophyll. So therefore try not to confuse urself alright 👌💯

I swear U missed this. It is the photolysis of water.Light energy is needed for the process of splitting of water molecules to 4H & 4OH... The hydrogen is reacted with 6CO to give form glucose... On further process, the 4OH generated with be transformed to 2 water molecules which may leave the plant system through transpiration... Kindly reconsider and correct the option chosen... The correct option is B... Thanks in anticipation
