Yellow fever is spread by specie of mosquito.

But polio is spread in a dirty environment, where the fly is most likely to carry the virus from one dirty place to food.

The answer is D, now do not forget the question said "rarely", meaning there is a possibility of this happening, but the chances are slim. We all know that houseflies can spread a lot of disesases, but there are diseases that can never be spread by a housefly, they are: air-borne diseases, s*xually transmitted disesases, some vector borne diseases and blood borne diseases. Yellow fever is one of those vector borne diseases that can never be transmitted by a housefly, so there is no chance of that happening. To conclude, the possibility of a housefly transmitting polio is there, but like I said before IT IS RARE

Explanation:
Houseflies are mechanical vectors: they carry pathogens on their body or legs from contaminated material (like faeces) to food or surfaces.
Diseases commonly spread by houseflies include:
Dysentery (bacterial or amoebic)
Cholera
Typhoid fever (can also be spread, but houseflies are less important than contaminated food/water)
Other options:
A. Yellow fever β†’ spread by Aedes mosquitoes
C. Typhoid fever β†’ mainly spread through contaminated food/water, flies can contribute but not the primary vector
D. Poliomyelitis β†’ spread through fecal-oral route, mainly via contaminated water
Key point: Houseflies = mechanical carriers of pathogens β†’ mainly dysentery and cholera.
