the mammalian ear is d organ for hearing n balancing.it has d outer,middle n inner ear.d first outer ear is d pinna which is an entirely soft elastic cartilage which receives sound as vibrations n send it 2ru d external auditory meatus or ear canal,d sound reaches d tympanium or ear drum which vibrates wen sound touched it.den d sound gets 2 d hammer,incus n staples d middle ear which transmits d sound to d inner ear.d cochlea aids hearing while d semi circular canal helps to maintain body balance with d eustachian tube which equalizes ear pressure with d nose n d cerebellum.great Nigerian students!!!!
