Please always be sure of an answer before writing it out here so you don't mislead your friends especially those who believe in this website. Protein is make up of two or more polypeptides. A polypeptides is a long chain of amino acid. Peptide (peptone) is make up of two or more amino acid. While amino acids is the end product of protein which can be found in the small intestine. Therefore, when protein (a complex structure of Amino acid) is broken down,it will result to polypeptides (a long chain of an amino acid). When this long chain of amino acids (polypeptides) is broken down, it will result to peptide or you can called it peptone (two or more amino acid). When
peptide which is two or more a amino acids is broken down,it will result in a single amino acid. The whole process is aided by series of enzymes beginning from the mouth to the osophagus(gullet),from the gullet to stomach, from stomach to doededum, and finally to the small intestine where the final adsorption and digestion of food takes place.
Please don't come here to agure with me. I am neither a Jamb candidate nor a student,But I am a Biology teacher and a B.Sc holder in microbiology from the federal University of Uyo. My attention was only drawn to this by one of my student. Am just showing concerned. This is my little contribution to you.I wish you all success in you EXAM!

the correct sequence for this A. polypetides B.protein C. amino- acids D.peptones....is (B.protein) follow by (D. peptones) follow by (A. polypetides) then (C. amino-acids) so its b-d-a-c

The correct sequence of steps in protein digestion is: Protein is broken down into polypeptides, which are further broken down into peptones and then into amino acids.

The option are wrong. The correct sequence are protein - peptones - polypeptides - amino acids
