Unabsorbed food goes to the large intestine. The liver also filters out solid particles of waste from the blood. These solid wastes are removed from the body through the rectum, which is at the end of the large intestine. Liquid wastes are filtered by the kidneys, a part of the excretory system. The leaf. Unlike animals, plants do not have specialised excretory organs. Excess carbon dioxide and oxygen are excreted from the plant through the stomata in the leaves.

The leaf. Unlike animals, plants do not have specialized excretory organs. Excess carbon dioxide and oxygen are excreted from the plant through the stomata in the leaves. Thus the given option is correct.

You all are a bit confused. the question, unless it is wrong says which of the following is not an excretory organ in animals. clearly the leaf is not part of an animal although it is an excretory organ in plants so the answer is correct C

Is the lungs an excretory organ ?

I disagree the correct answer is large intestine .don't be confuse with Egestion and excretion, Egestion is the removal of solid undigested substance which are not by-product of metabolism e.g. The removal of faeces from anus.Excretion is the process by which waste product of metabolism are removed from the body. Plant excretory organ include stomata and lenticel which excrete carbondioxide, water and oxygen. And back of trees which excret gum, alkaloid, resin etc.

The lungs excret carbondioxide, and water vapor, kidney excret urine containing hormones, water, salt, urea and uric acid, liver excret bile salt, water and urea, skin excret sweat
