d answer is wrong

in athropoda the chitin is strengthen by protein....but athropods that stays in seas are strengthen by calcium salts due to the high content of calcium salt in water...

So the question says MANY athropods..and most abondant of all athropods is insecta which lives on land and there is no way there chitin is enhanced by calcium....so d amswer is protein
